Notification Preferences
Notifications keep operators aware of support work without overwhelming them. They live in the account/profile dialog, not the workspace Settings sidebar.Notification Channels
Events
Notification preferences are a per-event by per-channel matrix.Quiet Hours
Quiet hours suppress sound, browser, and push notifications during the selected time window. In-app and email delivery still remain available so the feed and async updates are not lost.Delivery Controls
Use the master channel switches to enable or disable an entire delivery channel. Use the event matrix to decide exactly which events should use each channel. Browser notifications may ask for browser permission. Push notifications depend on browser support and server push configuration. Slack notifications require the workspace Slack app and a connected Slack user for the operator.Best Practices
- Keep sound notifications for high-signal events.
- Use browser or push notifications for active support shifts.
- Keep in-app notifications enabled for auditability.
- Review email notification behavior for on-call operators.
- Connect Slack for operators who want assignment, mention, handoff, or team chat notifications in Slack.
- Use Mute all notifications for temporary focus time instead of disabling individual events one by one.
