Client Portal Access Control
The Client Portal gives customers a focused place to view issue status and account-facing support work. Access should be tied to trusted customer identity, not just a public link.Access Model
Recommended Setup
1
Enable the portal
Review Client Portal settings before inviting customers.
2
Decide what customers can see
Choose whether customers should see open issues, resolved issues, account-level history, or only invited items.
3
Use stable identity
Prefer signed-in product identity, verified email, or portal magic-link flows.
4
Test as a customer
Open the portal with a test customer account and verify no unrelated account data appears.
Good Defaults
- Start with narrow issue visibility.
- Keep internal notes private.
- Do not expose operator-only debug traces.
